Minuscule 508 (in the Gregory-Aland numbering), ε 431 (in the Soden numbering), is a Greek minuscule manuscript of the New Testament, on parchment. Palaeographically it has been assigned to the 13th-century. Scrivener labelled it by number 494. It was adapted for liturgical use. The manuscript is lacunose. == Description == The codex contains the text of the four Gospels on 168 parchment leaves (size ) with some lacunae (Matthew 1:1-23; 5:26-6:23; Luke 24:9-28; John 3:14-4:1; 15:9-16:6; 19:31-21:25). The text is written in one column per page, 24-27 lines per page. The text is divided according to the (''chapters''), whose numbers are given at the margin, and their τιτλοι (''titles of chapters'') at the top of the pages. There is also a division according to the smaller Ammonian Sections (in Mark 241 Sections, the last section in 16:9b), (no references to the Eusebian Canons).〔 It contains the tables of the (''tables of contents'') before each Gospel, lectionary markings at the margin (for liturgical use), incipits, and subscriptions – with numbers of στιχοι – at the end of each Gospel.
